Debdale Park is a much loved park in the Gorton area of East Manchester.  It is a large green open space of historic interest which has always been at the heart of the local community.  The Friends of Debdale Park are local people who not only volunteer to help in the upkeep of the park but work to develop its potential as a resource for the whole community.

If you've got green fingers and you'd like a challenge then an allotment could be perfect for you. If you're
ready to work hard, and you're happy to deal with weeds, slugs and snails, greenfly and other nasties,
the benefits are well worth it

The National Allotment Society (NSALG) is the leading national organisation upholding the interests
and rights of the allotment community across the UK. We work with government at national and local
levels, other organisations and landlords to provide, promote and preserve allotments for all. We offer
support, guidance and advice to our members and those with an interest in allotment gardening.

Don’t throw it away – give it away on Freegle! You might not need that old sofa or wheelbarrow any more – but there might be someone just round the corner who does. Or if there’s something you’d like, someone nearby might have one.

Lurking in sheds, attics and cupboards all over the UK are items that are too good to throw away, but are not loved or needed anymore. Freegle online groups can help!
